In the capital of Ingushetia, a rally continues against the transfer of part of the land to Chechnya.
A second rally is held in Magas against the decision of the republic’s parliament to transfer part of the territory to Chechnya. Several thousand people took to the streets, who at first met with resistance from the police, but then the action continued peacefully. Despite the fact that the rally did not agree with the authorities.
On October 5, protesters began collecting signatures for the resignation of the head of the region. According to Interfax, Magas officials were threatened with dismissals for participating in protests.
