The British Foreign Office has accused Russian military intelligence of organizing “indiscriminate and reckless” cyberattacks. They are directed against political institutions, business, media and sports organizations around the world, the foreign ministry of this country is sure.

The attacks were carried out with a “flagrant violation of international law” and affected citizens of a large number of countries, including Russia, said in the UK.
British diplomats listed 12 hacker groups allegedly controlled by Russian intelligence:
- APT 28;
- BlackEnergy Actors;
- Cyber Berkut (“Cyberkut”);
- CyberCaliphate (Cyber Caliphate);
- Tsar Team;
- Fancy Bear;
- Voodoo Bear.
The Kremlin has repeatedly rejected accusations of involvement in attacks by hacker groups.
