Holodomor recognized the genocide of Ukrainians

The US Senate unanimously recognized the Holodomor, which took place in 1932-1933 as a genocide of Ukrainians. In addition to recognizing the Holodomor as genocide, the resolution refers to the systematic violation of human rights .. It expresses “deep sympathy for the victims of the famine, those who survived it, and their families,” and also proposes to spread information about the genocide in order to “raise awareness of its artificial nature. This is the first impetus to the opening of the Holodomor memory museums, which will be similar to the Holocaust memory museums.
