Xiaomi banned the flashing of Chinese versions of smartphones with global firmware

Xiaomi takes steps to protect markets where smartphones of this manufacturer are sold. Now the models released for Chinese consumers will not be able to install a global version of the firmware, and the international versions of mobile phones – ROM, designed for China. At the forum XDA Developers  appeared an approximate list of devices that fell under the blow.

The innovation is actively discussed at the MIUI forum, so the administration of the resource published an announcement warning of the danger of turning a smartphone into a “brick” when trying to update the firmware or install a new one.
