A zoo worker found an injured tortoise in July at Druid Hill Park. The turtle had a fracture on the underbelly, which was why it could not move normally. Veterinarians of the zoo successfully carried out a serious surgical operation, but the turtle needed a “wheel chair” so that its wounds could heal normally. The guys from the zoo creatively approached this problem and created a “wheelchair” for the turtle from the designer LEGO.
In the video, veterinarians show how they set up the Lego wheelchair and attached it to the turtle.
According to veterinarians, the turtle feels great, completely copes with the management and lives a full life.
