The star of the “Black Panther” will play in two screen versions of books by Tom Clancy

Michael B. Jordan will perform the lead role in the two screen versions of Tom Clancy’s novels. The actor, previously known for “Creed” and “Black Panther”, will play the former fur seal, and now the CIA operative John Clark.

Studio Paramount Pictures is working on two films based on Clancy’s works. It’s about Rainbow Six and Without Pity. For the first time John Clark appears in the book “The Kremlin Cardinal”, however, it is not planned to film it yet. It is expected that the first film “Without pity”.

Tom Clancy is known for books on military topics: conspiracies in the highest echelons of power, the fight against terrorism, the life of operatives and so on. He also worked on scripts for the game series Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon. Clancy died in 2013, he was 66 years old.
