In Russia, State Duma deputies want to prohibit migrants from working as taxi drivers, RIA Novosti reported.
The bill that prohibits foreigners from engaging in such activities is planned to be developed by the head of the State Duma Committee for Transport and Construction, Evgeny Moskvichev.
The deputy explained his decision by the fact that now the situation with the drivers is controlled too weakly and often it is not always possible to control exactly where the machine is located.
It is worth noting that foreigners working in a taxi often become stars of crime reports. One of the most egregious cases occurred recently in Moscow.
In Timiryazevsky district, a taxi driver attacked passengers during the conflict. The couple called the car, intending to carry out the trip together with the dog, but the driver did not like it, and he refused to go with the pet in the cabin.
The migrant entered with the passengers in a verbal skirmish, which turned into a conflict, during which the driver sprinkled a 35-year-old man in the face of a pepper spray and left.
Earlier, foreigners who came to Russia for permanent residence, also wanted to be obliged to retake the rights. Changes should have affected those who have already obtained a residence permit.
It was assumed that international and national rights would be declared invalid six months after receiving residence permit or citizenship
