The Avengers star studied at the Moscow Art Theater in Moscow and was in a relationship with one of the students.
On September 18, Elizabeth Olsen, known for her role as the Scarlet Witch in the Avengers of Marvel, appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show. She demonstrated the knowledge of the Russian mat and told how she studied in Russia in 2009, when the country was “much more attractive”.
At the beginning of her career, Olsen studied at the Moscow School-Studio of the Moscow Art Theater under the student exchange program. She came to the capital together with other students at New York College. In the interview, the actress explained that she lived in Russia for only six months, but managed to get acquainted with theaters and “nightlife” in clubs.
In fact, I came only for a couple of semesters in the student exchange. Translators were assigned to us. The course was dedicated to plastic, dance and movements, so that even the basic English, which the teachers owned, was enough for us.
For six months in Russia, Olsen managed to have an affair with 24-year-old Russian student Ilya Bocharnikov. According to Life, they stayed together for about three years and hid relationships because of the constant filming of the actress.
Unfortunately, distances and time zones complicate life in love – somewhere in half a year we broke up. Despite everything, I remember with great affection the time spent in Russia.
