Analyst Min Chi-Kuo studied the sources according to his sources about the pre-orders of new smartphones Apple. Apparently, the public was especially interested in the “budget” iPhone Xr and the flagship Xs Max, and the 5.8-inch successor to the iPhone X is not in great demand.
The specialist notes that the iPhone Xs Max feels very good in China, thanks to the huge 6.5-inch screen, gold color and support for two physical SIM cards (for other markets, one SIM and one electronic one are offered). The flagship will have about 30% of the device shipments.
Apple makes a big bet on the 6.1-inch iPhone Xr: according to the analyst, the company expects the share of the device in 55-60%.
In total, by the end of the year Apple has to ship to the suppliers 75-80 million iPhone, which the company introduced last week.
Sales of the iPhone Xs and Xs Max will begin on September 21, and the iPhone Xr will be available from October 26th.
