The publisher of MediaZony and the participant of Pussy Riot, Pyotr Verzilov, went to the toxic-rehab department of the Bakhrushin City Clinical Hospital in Sokolniki, his relatives told Medusa. He is in serious condition.

According to the girl Verzilova Veronika Nikulshina, he began to lose sight, speech and the ability to move around. Relatives suspected poisoning. However, doctors do not disclose the diagnosis of Nikulshina, because she is in the status of a civil wife. Verzilov’s mother was not allowed to enter the ward, but, as relatives told Petra, she is seeking information from doctors.

REN TV reported that Verzilova had problems with blood supply, because of which there was a violation of brain functions. The television station confirmed that he was hospitalized with symptoms of severe poisoning.

According to Medusa, Versilov became ill on the evening of September 11, after the court session on the case of Nikulshina’s arrest for shares on September 9 against pension reform. Peter went to bed, and two hours later, when Veronica came home, he woke up and said that he was “beginning to lose his sight.” Soon, his cramps and delirium began. On his way to the hospital, “he fell into such a half-awake, half-forgotten state, stopped reacting to me, recognizing me,” Nikulshina said.

Verzilov became known as a member of the art group “War”, and later as a member of Pussy Riot. He was called the “producer of the project”, because in 2012 he actively covered the trial of his wife Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alekhina and Ekaterina Samutsevich in Russia and abroad. In 2014, he became the publisher of the Media Zone, which established Tolokonnikov and Alyokhin. In 2018, Versilov, Nikulshina and two other participants of Pussy Riot ran to the field during the finals of the 2018 World Cup, receiving 15 days of arrest.
