As noted in the social network, during the festival the payment system will be tested for the first time offline. For payment, you will need to scan the seller’s QR code and confirm the transfer in the VKontakte application. For payment, the user will receive 20% of the purchase amount – cashback will be credited within a few days.
However, only part of the sellers will be able to pay with VK Pay, among them VK Shop, Lunch Buffet, Yakitoria and Mojo, Sushi Shop, Ponchikoff, Surprise Box, Demeter.
Payment by bank cards will be limited , as at previous festivals. ATMs will be installed on the territory of the festival, however VKontakte advised to have cash with you. It is not known which stands will support non-cash payment, and which are not.
The choice of the method of payment at points of sale remains at the discretion of the partners, but this year most of the participants plan to accept payment by card. In addition, there will be several ATMs of Promsvyazbank in the territory for the convenience of visitors.
For VK Pay users in VK Team zone special boxes for storage of things will be installed at the festival. The company also hired volunteers, who will be handed out a uniform and will pay a thousand rubles per shift. As noted in VKontakte, the volunteers will help to connect to VK Pay, answer questions from visitors and talk about what they can get, including at the festival.
The social commerce platform VK Pay was launched at the end of June. With its help, you can buy and sell goods and services in VKontakte communities without commission. The network can “later” enter a commission or start earning on the service in another way.
VK Fest in 2018 will be held from 28 to 29 July in the park of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg. This is the fourth such event from VKontakte.
