Hearing: Huawei holes the screen for the camera to get rid of the “monobrovi”

Korean resource ETNews claims that Huawei is working on a smartphone with an unusual design. Allegedly the company wants to get rid of the protrusion at the top of the screen, which is now found in many “frameless” gadgets.

It is planned to do this in an unusual way – “monobrov” will disappear, but the camera will remain at the top of the display. The speaker will be placed in a thin face above the screen. On the image it is difficult to assess how much such a solution will be comfortable and whether it makes sense. But, for example, Essential Phone used a similar design.

The site GSMArena assumes that Huawei is aiming to achieve a record ratio of the screen area to the display, so it goes on such a trick. According to preliminary information, the smartphone will receive an LCD screen with a diagonal of 6.39 inches. The premiere can take place at the end of the year.
