Falcon 9 put into orbit a satellite that distributes the Internet to air travelers

This morning (in our time) at the cosmodrome in Florida (USA, Cape Canaveral) was a successful launch of the Falcom 9 SpaceX. The rocket put into orbit the Canadian satellite Telstar 19 Vantage. The successful launch of Falcon was reported in the official Twitter SpaceX account.

Telstar 19 Vantage is designed to transmit broadband signals in the Americas. In addition, the satellite should provide access to the Internet via Wi-Fi to the passengers of aircraft that fly over the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean.

It is planned that the satellite will work for about 15 years. Recently it also became known that SpaceX won a contract to send a secret satellite to Falcon Heavy.
