Japanese Fujifilm presented today a compact camera XF10 based on a 24-megapixel APS-C sensor and with a high-speed non-replaceable fix-lens 28mm F2.8.
The camera received the same 28mm F2.8 lens as the Fujifilm X70, but is based on the APS-C sensor of the usual Bayer architecture, rather than the proprietary X-Trans technology. In fact, this is a simplified version of the X70, but with a higher-resolution sensor.
The camera is equipped with a 3-inch touch screen, removes 4K-video. The camera can communicate with the smartphone without wires via Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi. Especially for shooting “right into Instagram” in the camera there is a mode with the aspect ratio of 1: 1.
Fujifilm XF10 weighs only 280 grams and will go on sale in August at a price of $ 500. The model is conceived as a better companion for fans to shoot in Instagram: it is suitable for selfi, portraits, landscapes and shooting under low light.
