According to the Chinese resource Ice Universe, next year Samsung will finally add a fingerprint scanner built into the screen. And the technology will debut not only on the flagship of the South Korean company, but also on the smartphone of a more accessible level.
If usually the most interesting technologies first appear on top gadgets, and then the chips go to cheaper models, Samsung intends to act differently. In particular, it is reported that the smartphone of the middle price segment – the Galaxy A model – will also be equipped with a scanner of prints on the screen. There are no other details about the future device.
It is reported that next year Samsung intends to go essentially Apple and will split the flagship line into three devices – the Galaxy S10 will receive diagonals of 5.8, 6.1 and 6.4 inches. Versions with the largest diagonal will get the main camera with three sensors.
