Specialists at the University of Zurich conducted a large-scale study and found that the human brain of each person is unique – as well as a fingerprint. They shared their work on the website of the school.
Anatomical features of the brain are made up of a number of factors. One of them is genetics. Others accumulate during life and are formed from, for example, the kind of human activity.
For example, musicians or chess players regularly use the same parts of the brain, which affects the development of the brain. At the same time, there are enough and less long-term studies that also leave a mark on the brain.
The study went on for two years and affected about 200 people, who during the observation were made three magnetic resonance tomograms. Scientists came to the conclusion that the brain of each person can be considered absolutely unique.
