The head of the company intends to reimburse the tourists for expenses not in the form of money, but in the form of guarantee obligations – rest in the next year.
The tour operator “Natalie Tours” will not have enough financial guarantees of 150.5 million rubles for payments to all customers, the press secretary of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (PCT) Irina Tyurina told Interfax.
According to preliminary data of the head of the company Vladimir Vorobyov, which he informed the association “Tourist Help”, the company sold up to 10,000 rounds for a total of about $ 15 million.
If you divide the financial guarantee of the tour operator in the amount of 150.5 million rubles and the personal responsibility fund in the amount of 6 million rubles for all tourists, it will be 15.6 thousand per person. That is, financial guarantees are not enough for payments to all victims.
To enable tourists to receive compensation from financial guarantees, the tour operator must announce the suspension of activities. However, Vorobiev intends to continue the work and intends to reimburse the tourists for expenses not in the form of money, but in the form of guarantee obligations, according to which they will be able to rest next year, explained Turin.
According to the PCT, the legal force and the reality of the fulfillment of the guarantee obligations are not backed up. “It is better to deal with claims for a refund, and in case of refusal to pay – to court,” added Tyurina.
July 4, the head of “Natalie Tours” Vladimir Vorobyov announced that the company will stop selling new tours and cancel all applications before October 1, 2018. He explained that he can not fulfill financial obligations to partners.
