Users of “Dvača” deannonized Russian porn actresses using FindFace

In the beginning of April, users of the “Dvach” image-board began using the FindFaceservice – a neural network search for users of “VKontakte” in the photo – to deanonize pornographic actresses. In the service itself, this practice is denied and declares that it can not be forbidden in any way.

Traed , in which the tworacers initiated the search for Russian girls from the erotic industry and porn, is dated April 9. Apparently, the idea of using the service in this way was influenced by the popularity of the project of photographer Egor Tsvetkov, who demonstrated how easy it is to deanonize with passengers using the FindFace metro.

Users of “Dvacha” called to analyze with the help of FindFace footage from pornorolikov and erotic photoshoots to expose the identity of girls. In case the account in “VKontakte” can be identified in this way, it was suggested to send links to intimate videos and photos to relatives and friends of porn actresses.

The motivation of the organizers of the persecution is as follows: these girls are corrupt and deceptive, they do not pay attention to such men as users of Dvacha, and when they are exposed they begin to “turn around like a herring in a frying pan, cackle about photoshop, ill-wishers”. On some of the collages collected by the two daughters, the girls during the intimate shootings published photos in the family circle.

How many girls have been exposed in this way, it is not known: on the “Dvache” old branches of discussions are deleted and not all are saved. Some of the “achievements” of the organizers of the persecution were published in third-party communities “VKontakte”, however at least one of them was blocked by the administration of the social network on the complaint of another antisexist community.

Many of the exposed girls deleted their pages in VKontakte. One of the girls answered that it was not she who was photographed, but her friend in response to the questions began to threaten with beating.

Representatives of FindFace told that lately complaints have been filed with their support service for such use of the service, and the number of victims is estimated at tens. At the same time, it is forbidden to use the search for a photograph in this way, they are technically unable to, but note that the illegal manufacture and distribution of porn in Russia is stipulated in Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

In the event that someone bothers to search for bait users, FindFace promised to provide their data.

We do our best to protect all users of the network from possible actions of intruders and are ready to provide all information for searching such users if necessary.
