In Japan, an earthquake occurred – about 200 people were injured


According to the media, at least three people were killed, including a nine-year-old girl and an elderly man.


June 18 in the Japanese prefecture of Osaka earthquake of magnitude 6.1 occurred due to which not less than 200 people were injured. Local media writeabout three deaths, including a nine-year-old girl and a man of 80 years old, and that the number of wounded has reached 200 townspeople.

The authorities of Osaka completely stopped the movement of public transport, including trains and airplanes. Most of the injuries were due to fallen objects or fragments of walls. There is no evidence of major destruction, the focus of the tremors was at a depth of 13 meters.

Local residents told that the tremors destroyed the roads and floods, and there were also several fires. The incident caught many citizens on their way to work. The Japanese authorities said they assess the damage.
