Trump showed Kim Jong-Yun a video about the benefits of cooperation. It used footage with “AvtoVAZ”

American journalists perceived the video as North Korean propaganda, “disguised as a Hollywood trailer.”

Donald Trump published on Twitter a video entitled “History of Opportunities”, which describes the benefits of cooperation and “the opportunity to build a common future.” The US president showed this video to Kim Jong-no in a personal meeting at a summit in Singapore. As noted by the publication “Ridus”, the video used footage from the production of cars “AvtoVAZ”.

Frames with the assembly of Lada Priora cars appear for a few seconds at a stretch of 2:59. In the upper right corner you can see a sign with safety rules in Russian. After Trump posted the video, it also appeared on the page of the White House on Facebook.

American journalists who attended the summit said that Trump showed a video on his iPad. They also broadcast the video, but some thought it was the DPRK’s propaganda, since they first launched the version in the North Korean language.

The past does not need to be repeated in the future. What if people with a common and rich heritage can create a common future?

The publication Gizmodo noted that the titled Destiny Pictures is not related to the White House and did not mention cooperation there. The authors called the video a “fake movie trailer” and doubted that the US needs such rude propaganda. Also on YouTube posted a record of how this video was shown to reporters.
