The company Intel stopped walking around the bush and loudly stated: yes, we are making discrete video cards, wait for them in 2020. And at the same time, a man was introduced who will lead this direction – Raja Koduri. He will become vice president of the formed division of Core and Visual Computing Group.
It should not only strengthen the company’s position in the embedded graphics market, but also develop the direction of high-end video cards for various segments of the market.
Koduri was hired by the company back in November 2017. In Intel, he moved from AMD. Recently, he was joined by former colleague on AMD Jim Keller, who headed the development of architecture Zen.
