President of the International Football Federation (FIFA) Gianni Infantino is confident that the World Cup in Russia will be held in a friendly, hospitable atmosphere, and that the organizers have done everything possible to prevent violations.
I will not say that we are concerned about possible cases of discrimination or security during the World Cup, although it is obvious that we are taking this very seriously. Referees can stop matches, there is a monitoring system, there are sanctions for violations, and all are warned that there will be in case of violations
Infantino also expressed confidence that security during the World Cup will be organized at a high level.
The authorities are well aware that they have worked hard in this area, together with the governments of other countries, to prevent possible violations. Everything will pass in a hospitable atmosphere
According to the president of FIFA, ” Russia is 100 percent ready for the championship, the whole world will see what a hospitable country, how perfectly organized everything is .”
He also spoke about the system of video replay, which will operate during the World Cup.
The system is ready, we tested it. This will help the arbitrators – mistakes somehow happen. I think this will help ensure greater fairness during games
World Cup in Russia will open on June 14 with Russia vs. Saudi Arabia at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
