Motorola introduced a new modular smartphone Moto Z3 Play

Motorola officially showed the novelty Moto Z3 Play – the device became more modern and retained the support of plug-in modules. Among the main innovations – the main camera consists of two sensors (12 and 5 Mp), and the screen diagonal has grown to 6 inches.

Resolution of the AMOLED-display is 2160 × 1080 pixels. The device is rather thin: 6.7 mm, and weighs 156 grams. The model is not flagship, so the processor here is Snapdragon 636. The amount of RAM is 4 GB. Versions with 32 and 64 GB of storage are available. The Moto Z3 Play has a 3000 mAh battery, fast charging is supported.

In comparison with the predecessor, the display frame became smaller, and the fingerprint scanner moved to the power button located on the side (as in the older Sony Xperia smartphones).

The main feature of the Moto Z3 Play is the support for plug-in modules that are attached to the back of the device. For example, an additional battery, a column, a joystick for games and so on are available.

Moto Z3 Play bundled with a fashion-battery will cost $ 499.
