Apple is working on a secret Star project, which most likely involves the development of the MacBook on the mobile ARM architecture. According to the publication Digitimes , the output of such a laptop is much closer than it seems. Apple has already decided on the contractor: the Pegatron plant will be assembling the ARM MacBook.
The future MacBook on this architecture will be something between the tablet and the laptop. It will support applications written for both iOS and macOS. Most likely, the first candidate for transition to ARM-architecture will be a 12-inch MacBook.
At the same time, it will support touch input and have improved autonomy.
