Apple will install OLED-displays on all three smartphones, which will be presented this year in the fall. This is reported by the Korean edition of the Economic Times. Sources say that smartphones will receive the names of iPhone 9, iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Plus. They are supposed to be equipped with screens with a diagonal of 6.1, 5.8 and 6.5 inches respectively.
It is noted that Japanese investors took the information seriously. This led to a drop in prices for shares in Japan Display. They are engaged in the production of components for LCD displays of mobile devices of the American corporation, and Apple’s transition to OLED will negatively affect the business of the Japanese company.
Recall, June 4-8 will host the annual WWDC conference. At the event, Apple will introduce new iOS and macOS. Also, the appearance of a Macbook with a more powerful iron is not ruled out.
