In the city of Anchorage in Alaska, police detained the robber when he was sitting near a robbed bank and counting the stolen money. This was reported by thepublication Anchorage Daily News referring to the FBI.
May 22, Michael Gale Nash (Michael Gale Nash) robbed the “First National Bank of Alaska.” He entered the bank with a large bag and handed the cashier a note: “This is a robbery. Please put the money in the bag. God bless us”. The note was written on the letterhead of the housing organization and on the back of it Nash’s personal data-his name and date of birth-were indicated.
Nash took $ 400 from the bank, said FBI representative Staci Feger-Pellessier. The police, who were summoned by the bank’s employees, arrived in “a few minutes”. They saw a robber sitting next to the bank and counting money. It is noted that the man was not armed.
According to the publication, in 1993 Nash was tried for theft, in 1996 he was under investigation for the distribution of drugs, and in 2000 – for forgery. The case of a bank robbery is still being investigated, investigators are investigating whether Nash was under the influence of alcohol and drugs while committing a crime.
