Apple launched a website with user information

Purchases, documents and photos from iCloud, which the company stores.

May 23, two days before the entry into force of the European Union’s law on personal data, Apple opened the site Data & Privacy . A user with an Apple ID account is entitled to download all of his personal information that the company stores in the cloud service.

  • Data on the use of applications;
  • Calendars and reminders;
  • Data iTunes Store, iBooks Store, Apple Music, Game Center and AppleCare;
  • Photos and documents;

Downloading data is available only in the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, but later this service will work all over the world. The exact date Apple has not yet called.

In the territories where the service is available, you need to log in and place an order, after which Apple will send files in the archive in the size of 1 to 25 GB with a copy of the Apple ID data within seven days.
