The daily games will be conducted by invited hosts, including Urgant himself.
“VKontakte” launched a new application “Clover” – an analogue of the popular online quiz of the USA HQ Trivia , in which the present speaker acts on the air, communicates with users and every day plays out real cash prizes. Representative of VKontakte Dmitry Lushnikov confirmed to the newspaper Kommersant information about the imminent launch of the show.
As in HQ Trivia, quizzes will be held twice a day: at 13:00 and 20:00 Moscow time. The money prize is divided between all the players who correctly answered 12 questions in a row. The first game will be held on March 14 at 13:00, its prize fund will be 15 thousand rubles, and the total prize fund of the first month – one million rubles.
In the American version of the show, there are three answers to each question and only a couple of seconds to think: it will not be possible to google the answer. When you select the answer, HQ Trivia shows how many people voted for it. So the players understand how many competitors they have left. The whole game takes no more than 15 minutes.
One of the features of HQ Trivia is a real presenter. In “Clover” casting will team Ivan Urgant, who is also responsible for questions, design and studio. Periodically, the show will invite famous hosts, including Urgant himself. VKontakte is responsible for the technical part of the project. The app is already available on Google Play and the App Store .
HQ Trivia is an application from the creators of Vine, attracting tens of thousands of users for every game. The founders did not hide that they drew inspiration from television quizzes like “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” And “Jeopardy!” (The Russian analogue is “My Game”). In a short time, many HQ Trivia analogues appeared in different countries: both official and unofficial.
