Media: Apple will release a cheaper column under the Beats brand

According to Strategy Analytics, in the first quarter of 2018, 9.2 million smart speakers were delivered to the market. Of these, only 600,000 Apple HomePod devices. Apple’s share (6%) is significantly lower than that of Amazon (43.6%) and Google (26.5%). To fix the situation and increase the presence, Apple is going to release a cheaper column.

At least, such rumors come from the Taiwanese supply chain. It is planned that the device will cost $ 200 and be distributed under the Beats brand belonging to the “apple” company.
