The authorities in Cuba have begun investigating the incident, but the causes of the disaster are unknown.

On board the passenger Boeing 737, crashed at the airport of José Martí in Havana, there were 110 people, most of them died. The authorities of Cuba confirmed thethree survivors, who are in critical condition.

Among the passengers are about ten foreigners: five crew members and the same number of civilians were from Mexico. The rest are citizens of Cuba. There is no official data on the number of victims, but the Cuban authorities promise to provide them in the near future.
