North Korea is actively developing and selling high-tech products, including VPN systems, fingerprint and face scanners, encryption software and so on. The information is published in the report of the American organization James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. Buyers of IT-products of North Korea are allegedly companies from China, Malaysia and Nigeria.
Experts successfully and efficiently hide the traces of their activities, which makes it difficult to identify software developers, as well as certain types of specialized equipment. Due to this, the products had a demand among customers of very different rank, up to governmental organizations.
Moreover, some North Korean products found recognition at competitions and received awards.
