Tverskoy District Court of Moscow arrested oppositionist Alexei Navalny for 30 days for a repeated violation of the rules of the rally (part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code) because of the May 5 rally “He is not our king”. The live broadcast of the meeting was conducted by Mediason.

Against Navalny also brought about the case of an administrative offense in part 2 of Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code (disobedience to the demand of a policeman). The decision on it will be announced later.
Last updated at 19:35: Navalny was found guilty of disobeying a policeman for the action, adding to him 15 days of arrest for this article. By partial addition to Navalny appointed 30 days in jail.
Initially, the meeting was scheduled for May 11, but Judge Dmitry Gordeyev postponed the consideration of both cases on May 15.
Aleksei Navalny was detained on May 5 in Moscow on Pushkin Square, where a rally “He is not our king”, which was inconsistent with the authorities, was held. He managed to speak out, but immediately after that, the siloviki carried him away.
The actions “He’s not our king” were held in almost a hundred Russian cities, including St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Chelyabinsk, Krasnoyarsk and Tomsk. In total, following the results of rallies in 26 cities , more than 1500 detainees are known , among them more than 700 in Moscow and more than 500 in St. Petersburg.
