Vladimir Putin became the president of Russia for the fourth time

Vladimir Putin took office as president of the Russian Federation after taking the oath. The inauguration ceremony takes place in the Grand Kremlin Palace.
The elected head of state received the right to remain on the post for another six years – until May 7, 2024.
Voting in the presidential elections in Russia was held on March 18. Voter turnout was 67.54%. Putin won with the result of 76.69% of the vote: for him, according to the final data of the CEC, more than 56.4 million voters voted. Thus, Putin has demonstrated a record record in his entire political career, both in terms of percentage, and in the absolute number of votes collected.
