Mathematician Kokichi Sugihara (Kokichi Sugihara) from the Japanese Meiji University created a new voluminous optical illusion – an arrow that always points to the right, even if you rotate it 180 degrees. Illusion works, even if the mirror is on the opposite side, only the reflection, on the contrary, always points to the left.
Sugihara used his knowledge to create an arrow of a special shape with a special relief, because of which the appearance of the arrow changes depending on what angle it is to look at. At the same time, the top arrow looks completely symmetrical.
