The reason for the blocking was “the placement of information denying family values.”
On April 28, the portal “Guys Plus” received a notice about entering the site in the Unified Register of Prohibited Sites. In a letter from Roskomnadzor it is said that this was done by the decision of the Burlinsky District Court of the Altai Territory on January 26, 2018, the website reported .
The notice does not say a word about “homophobic propaganda among minors”, as it previously happened with the blocking of similar resources. Also, the text of the decision does not say what specific material is being discussed and what is “the negation of family values”.
The site contains information denying family values that propagates unconventional sexual relations, which is recognized as banned in the territory of the Russian Federation.
The site “Guys Plus” has existed for more than 10 years. Its main goal is to provide information about sexual health and family relationships of LGBT people.
Earlier, at the end of March, Roskomnadzor blocked Gay.Ru by the decision of the Altai District Court of the village of Bely Yar of the Republic of Khakassia. In early April, State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov appealed to the Prosecutor General’s Office demanding to close the AIDS Center website for gay propaganda.
