On April 27, the leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong-un, met with South Korean President Mun Zhe Yong at the Panmunjom border post, at 38 parallels of the demilitarized zone between the two countries to discuss the relations and prospects for reunification.

Kim Jong-un and Mun Zhe Ying shook hands and together crossed a symbolic border line about 10 cm high, which divides the country from the war years of the 1950s. After this, Mun Zhe Ying, at the unexpected request of the leader of the DPRK, once again crossed the border line – from south to north – and a minute later returned from North Korea. Thus, they both visited the territories of neighboring countries for the first time.

At the meeting, Kim Jong-un told Mun Zhe Inu that he had brought buckwheat noodles from Pyongyang. “This evening at a banquet it would be nice if you tried,” he said.

After passing by the honor guard and a joint photo they went to the building of the “House of Peace” for negotiations. Mun Zhe Ying called for bringing “peace and prosperity” to the peninsula, and Kim Jong-un said that he felt the beginning of a new historical stage in the relationship.

I’m glad to see you and very excited that we met in such a historic place. It is very important for me that you, Mr. President, have come to the “House of Peace”, to the demarcation line.

Senior spokesman of the leader of South Korea said that at the meeting, Mun Zhe Ying suggested Kim Jong-un to join the railways of the two countries to strengthen economic cooperation. Although the countries agreed in 2000 to continue the construction of the Trans-Korean Railway, in 2001 North Korea withdrew from the agreement.

Also, Kim Jong-no, commenting on the missile tests of the DPRK, promised Mun Zhe Inu to make sure that it is not too early to wake up the latter in the morning. As noted by The Telegraph, so the leader of North Korea played a trick on his colleague.
