Thanks to the similarity with the American president, Dolores Lace Antelo became popular on the web, although she has neither a computer nor a phone.
Spanish journalist Paula Vazquez made an almost random shot on April 20 in the municipality of Cabana de Bergantiños in Galicia, which in a few days became viral. Vazquez was reporting on the effects of recent storms in rural areas and asked to pose for photography a local resident Dolores Ley Antelo.
The journalist published a photo in her instagram without even thinking that on it the farmer has a striking portrait likeness to US President Donald Trump. However, thousands of network users paid attention to the picture , and the American magazine Newsweek took Dolores from the interview .
One of them is the leader of the free world in the White House, the other lives in a modest home in rural Spain, but they are so similar, as if they were twins, separated at birth.
Dolores said that on that day she went to the farm to take a few heads of cabbage when she was stopped by journalists and asked to pose with a hoe. She also told that she has been living in this area for more than 40 years, and all this time she did not have a computer or phone.
I never wanted to get it [smartphone], but I look at what my daughters show me. They say that this photo made me famous, but I do not understand. why.
She seems to have spread widely. I think it’s all because of the color of my hair.
Dolores also admitted that she was “enchanted” by her comparison with the US president, and that now her neighbors on the farm call her “the cousin of Trump”.
Journalists noted that, unlike his twin from Washington, the farmer does not dream of building a wall, but rather wants to drain a couple of marshes. Currently, she worries about how to grow potatoes in a dry climate, and the dust settled on a woman during the work gives her hair exactly that orange shade that makes her look so much like Trump.
