Google jointly with Xiaomi announced the release of the smartphone Mi A1, which belongs to the line of smartphones for developing countries, Android One. Features of the device will be a screen with minimal frames, a dual camera with optical zoom, as well as support for the latest versions of the “clean” Android operating system and the Google Play Protect system.
The budget device stuffing consists of a Snapdragon 625 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, as well as a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution (1920 by 1080 pixels) and a battery capacity of 3,080 mAh.
Representatives Xiaomi added that their device will receive a camera with a built-in portrait mode, capable of shooting at the same level with the iPhone 7 Plus. Together with the smartphone, its owners will receive free access to unlimited cloud storage Google Photos as a gift.
Xiaomi Mi A1 will be sold in more than 30 markets around the world, including Kazakhstan, Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. The regional price of the device remains unknown, but in India the smartphone is already available for 15 thousand rupees (about 13.5 thousand rubles) in a black, gold and pink case.
