At the Warsaw Comic Con festival, writer Andrzej Sapkowski announced that he was writing a new book on the Witcher universe. This is great news for fans of the series, but so far it is not accompanied by any specifics. Sapkovsky just threw the bait and, perhaps, did it rather late.
The last in the chronology of the universe book about the adventures of the witch Geralt (“Lady of the Lake”) came out in 1998. In 2013, the “Season of Thunderstorms” was published, which was not a direct continuation of the saga: his actions unfolded in the time interval of stories from the collection “The Last Desire”.
Two years ago, the writer spoke of the desire to create a continuation of “Lady of the Lake.” True, it is not known whether he is implementing this plan in a new book and whether there will in principle be Geralt.
