DPRK leader Kim Jong-un announced the suspension of nuclear weapons tests and intercontinental ballistic missiles, as well as the closure of the nuclear test site since April 21. According to him, the country no longer needs such tests, since it “has achieved the goal of developing nuclear weapons.”
As noted by RIA Novosti, the DPRK is going to preserve the existing nuclear potential. To develop its economy, the country intends to “ensure close contact and an active dialogue” with neighboring countries and the international community.
All forces will be focused on the struggle for the emergence of a powerful socialist economy, for a radical increase in the standard of living of the people through the mobilization of the country’s human and material resources.
North Korea has agreed to suspend all Nuclear Tests and close up a major test site. This is very good news for North Korea and the World – big progress! Look forward to our Summit.
