Greenpeace showed the children an “ocean of the future” with garbage instead of marine life

Ogilvy & Mather agency filmed a video for the British division Greenpeace with children visiting the oceanarium. Before their visit, aquatic animals were removed from the aquariums, instead filling the water with plastic debris – bags, bottles and other packaging.

Aquariums are often viewed as perfect, well-groomed worlds that give us a false sense of security when it comes to the state of our ocean. What we wanted to put into practice illustrates the future, what it will become if the state of affairs does not change.
