The 28-year-old musician was found in his apartment, the causes of death are unknown.
The Swedish DJ and producer Avicii (Avichi), whose real name is Tim Bergling, died at the age of 28. This was reported by the representative of the musician with reference to the words of the family.
According to the representative of Bergling, his body was found in the afternoon in a house in Muscat. He asked to respect the family’s desire for solitude and grief, and added that no more details would be available.
On the eve of Bergling’s death, they were nominated for the Billboard Music Award in the category “Best Electronic Album” for the record “Avicii (01)”. In 2017, the musician made a documentary film “Avicii: True Stories”, where he played his hits – “Wake Me Up!” And “You Make Me”.
In 2016, Avicii temporarily refused to speak in connection with health problems. He suffered from pancreatitis because of excessive drinking.
The musician told me in an interview that it was harder for him to give concerts, as he prefers to write music and stay more introverted.
In 2017, he promised “to give rise to something new”, but managed to release only a mini-album.
