On April 7, in the Bosporus Strait in Istanbul, a tanker flying the flag of Malta crashed into a historic mansion near the bridge of Sultan Mehmed Fatih. The ship’s crew tried to prevent the collision and threw out the emergency anchor, but this did not stop the 225-meter tanker. Movement on the strait was stopped for several hours. The damaged building was built in the XVIII century, recently it was used for banquets, weddings and concerts. According to media reports, its price is 85 million dollars.
