In New York, there was a fire in the skyscraper Trump Tower, where the penthouse Donald Trump is located. The fire was on the 50th floor of the building, it is known about one seriously injured. This was reported by the Fire Department of New York.
The Trump penthouse is located on the 26th floor, but the president is not in New York now: he left for Washington for the weekend. Five fire brigades already arrived at the scene of the fire, the police surrounded the nearby streets.

According to the fire department of New York, one person was seriously injured, four firefighters received minor damage. The fire was extinguished for an hour, its cause has not yet been established. Trump on Twitter thanked the rescuers and noted that the fire was “very limited” in area, as the building was “well built.”

This is the second fire in the skyscraper in 2018: last time due to bad wiring the roof of the building caught fire , two people were injured.
