The van entered a group of pedestrians in the German city of Munster. The police reported that there are dead and wounded, but did not specify their number.
According to the newspaper Rheinische Post, three people were killed, about 30 were injured. Also the publication reports that the driver is dead (possibly, committed suicide). There was no official information on this score.
Part of the city where the incident occurred was cordoned off, and the police asked residents not to approach the scene.

The planned demonstration of Kurds in the center of Münster was canceled on Saturday. It was expected that about 1,500 people will take part in it.
According to the newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung, as well as TV channels NDR and WDR, the hitting was not a terrorist attack and was committed by a person with mental disabilities.
