Ramzan Kadyrov said that he does not support the possible blocking of Telegram by Roskomnadzor. The head of Chechnya expressed the hope that the messenger’s leadership and the agency “will find a compromise solution that will meet both the law and the interests of users.”
According to Kadyrov, he uses the messenger not only for work, but also for personal correspondence and for his own channel.
For me, Telegram is very convenient. Well done, that came up with stickers: a long message can be replaced with a picture. But the chapter should not put comfort and convenience, but state interests.
Kadyrov is one of the first Russian officials who started a channel in Telegram. He recommended subscribers favorite stickers and complained about fake accounts. Now more than 30 thousand people have subscribed to its channel.
On April 6, Roskomnadzor filed a lawsuit on blocking Telegram due to a refusal to issue keys to decrypt the correspondence. The Kremlin also expressed regret about the possible banning of the messenger, but noted the need to comply with the laws.
