Bloomberg reports that Apple is actively working on a line of its own processors for its computers. Now the company uses Intel solutions, but within two years the Cupertins will go over to their own chips.
Macbook and iMac 2020 model year will acquire a family of processors, now known under the working name of Kalamata. They are still at an early stage of development.
Sources say that Apple is determined and wants to minimize the use of third-party components. It is also assumed that native processors will provide better performance with the operating system macOS.
