Cloudflare launches a new DNS service, which is positioned as the first secure public DNS service. The company’s website also presents a comparative chart, which shows the ping metrics Cloudflare, Google and OpenDNS / Umbrella. The new DNS uses 126.96.36.199 and 188.8.131.52 addresses for IPv4, and IPv6 support is also available.
As noted in the company, in some cases there may be disruptions in the work of DNS Cloudflare, but experts are working on optimization.
Every 24 hours, the company cleans logs, which should ensure the safety of surfing users who use DNS Cloudflare. The service supports DNS-over-TLS and DNS-over-HTTPS.
