According to the head of Buryatia, one of the possible causes of failure is the accumulation of Wi-Fi-points in the nearest houses, which created interference for the drones. At the last moment, the organizers changed the launch site at the request of the TV channels “for a good picture”.

In Buryatia the first test drones of the “Russian Post” crashed about the house, which was supposed to deliver a package weighing 2 kg. He was supposed to fly 16 km from Ulan-Ude to the village of Nizhny Sayantui, but he crashed because of interference from nearby Wi-Fi-points,

Among the local residents there are no victims, although the drone crashed into a house near which people stood. However, the device itself can not be restored. It cost almost $ 21,000.

The launch was held in a solemn atmosphere from the site near the post office of the “Post of Russia”. The ceremony was attended by the head of Buryatia Alexei Tsydenov.

In Buryatia there were unsuccessful tests of the first UAV of the “Post of Russia”, which was supposed to deliver the parcel at a distance of 16 kilometers – from Ulan-Ude to the village of Nizhny Sayantuy.

The device with a package of 2 kilograms gained altitude and flew to the nearest house at high speed. None of those present was injured, but the drone is not recoverable. Its cost is estimated at 1.2 million rubles. The solemn launch was held on the site of the “Post of Russia” branch in 105 districts. The ceremony was attended by the head of the republic Alexei Tsydenov and the company’s CEO Nikolai Podguzov. The test launch was supposed to start reusable shipments with the help of drones: Podguzov saidthat this project “should become successful.”
