The American company Roam Robotics presented its next development – an analog of the exoskeleton for those who are keen on skiing. The system is a pair of “boots” and a small backpack attached to them. To lift huge loads the prototype does not allow, since it is intended primarily to protect the knee joints of the athlete.
The company believes that the system developed by them will suit not only novice skiers, but also professional athletes, as well as people of age. The commercial product will not appear until January 2019.
To reserve the device, you have to shell out $ 99, and the device itself will cost $ 2-2,5 thousand.
